We are pleased to introduce some of the residents and visitors to the Rivers Nursery Orchard and adjacent meadow.

Orchid perfection

Tall and elegant, the Common Broomrape, grows discreetly in the adjacent meadow.

The summer of 2011 draws to a close and the seeds in our wildflower meadow are getting ready to disperse or be transported.
Special thanks again to Lorraine Winser for capturing the fascinating world of nature up close.

He was out and about in the hedgerow at the side of the orchard on the 02.09.2011
